Donna Hemans is a communications specialist with more than fifteen years writing and editing experience. For nearly 10 years, Donna wrote business and financial news as a wire service and newsletter reporter, covering a range of financial topics, including mutual funds, defined contribution and pension plans and the broad stock market.
As a freelance and contract communications specialist, Donna has copyedited articles, policies and procedural manuals, employee communications and corporate brochures, and written articles, scripts, and employee communications.
Donna is also the author of the novel River Woman and has published short stories in numerous literary journals. She leads fiction writing workshops at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and twice served as the Lannan Visiting Creative Writer-in-Residence at Georgetown University.
